Aren't we interested in finding the fastest path between two points rather than the closest physical route. I am so frustrated. I had the $$ in my account and because they process the largest amounts in order I was hit with 3 overdrafts charges instead of maybe one. How can they charge an overdraft for something that has not even cleared the account. My hubby said he has had numerous fights with them because he will eat at a gig and after he gets paid fr it will swing by and deposit the $$ only 3 hours later and will still get dinged with an overdraft for that night even though it never shows a negative. He will show them the ATM receipt and they just argue. Up until this change in the banking system, we never had overdrafts with them. Now we find ourselves in a bind almost every other month. If I know my paycheck goes into my account at midnight, I should be able to go to the grocery at 7pm. But it will earn me an overdraft every time. I need to find a new bank. One I can trust.It was bad enough I had to pay taxes on signing bonuses I received when I opened an account that I never even wanted. That really messed me up because I didn't even catch it until we had filed. So we had to refile. It is a pain. How can this be legal. I am so frustrated.
